Algebra Calculator! How To Solve System Of Non-Linear Equation By Using Substitution Method Examples Welcome to A-Maths!
In this blog, I will solve one more SAT math problem. I will solve this Question using the substitution method. How??
So, let's find out the answer,
You can see that our given function is
f(x) = (x+1)²
Our required value is
f(x+2)= ??
In order to solve this question, we will replace x with x+2 inside our given function and we will get
f(x+2) = (x+2+1)²
x+2 will come in the place of x.
Now just simplify
f(x+2)= (x+3)²
Now you can see that this is becoming a+b whole square formula which is
(a+b)² = a² +2ab +b²
If a Is x and b is 3 we can write (x+3)² as
f(x+2)= x² + 2(x)(3) + 3²
f(x+2)= x² + 6x + 9
This is the solution to our given Equation. I hope this lesson will be very useful to all of you.
